Dan Clark

Dan Clark & Jackie

Certified Dog Behavior Consultant
Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner(KPA-CTP)

Dan’s journey with Jax, filled with love, challenges, and personal growth, inspired him to become a dog trainer. Their shared experiences taught him the importance of meeting a dog’s needs, understanding their emotions, and overcoming behavioral challenges. Through this profound connection, Dan discovered a passion for helping dogs and their owners navigate the complexities of their relationship. Today, as a dog trainer, Dan is driven by the desire to empower others, just as Jax empowered him, and to make a positive impact in the lives of both dogs and their human companions.

Dan believes that training should be a positive and enjoyable experience for both the dog and their owner. Dan’s approach to training is based on the idea that positive reinforcement, such as treats, praise, and play, is the most effective way to train a dog. Rather than using punishment or dominance, Dan focuses on rewarding good behavior and teaching dogs what they should do, rather than what they shouldn’t.

But Dan’s expertise extends beyond just training dogs. He is also a skilled communicator, able to teach dog owners how to continue reinforcing positive behaviors and to build a strong bond with their furry friends. He prioritizes open communication and works collaboratively with owners to develop training plans that are both effective and manageable.

Whether you’re dealing with a new puppy or an adult dog with ingrained habits, Dan is here to help. His commitment to positive reinforcement training and love for dogs make him a trusted and valued member of the dog training community.

Megha Patel & Milo

Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner(KPA-CTP)

Megha immersed herself into the world of animal behavior after realizing the dog she adopted was reactive. Megha stepped into a career in animal welfare in 2020 to help animals, she decided to take the leap from pet food express to private training and discovered how rewarding it is to work so closely with owners and their dogs.

Milo presented her with behavioral challenges that required patience, compassion, and a commitment to finding effective solutions. Together, they navigated through moments of fear, anxiety, and reactivity, overcoming obstacles and building a foundation of trust. Witnessing his transformation and growth ignited her desire to help other dogs and their owners facing similar challenges.

After working with a variety of dogs with a wide range of behavior issues (reactivity, defensive aggression, fear, anxiety, etc.), Megha received her KPA-CTP in 2022. She is constantly looking to expand her knowledge, while supporting and enriching the human-animal relationship. She believes that every team deserves time, patience, and understanding while embarking on their training journey.
